SOMERTON MAN MYSTERY

The Evidence The Facts In Detail In Depth

SOMERTON MAN MYSTERY: THE DECRYPT PART 2. . THE CODE CRACKED, BREAKTHROUGH. THE CROSSED LINES AND NUMBER STATIONS

 CODE PAGE CROSSED LINES

These lines occur at the centre of the code page and in them, you can see evidence of microcode letters and numbers. You can just see the top of the letter Q which sits just below the crossed lines and to the right of the page. It also shows the presence of code and the Qforms part of the information contained in the letters of the Tamam Shud torn piece. as per the first part of this post.

The way that the codes have been written suggests to me that they were taken down at speed and that in turn suggests that whoever did that was listening to a broadcast. To be more precise it was quite possibly a 'numbers station' broadcast. Numbers stations have been in use since the 19320s and possibly earlier. Essentially a voice recites sets of numbers over short-wave radio. Each broadcast has a specific target audience and that is communicated by the opening musical notes in some instances or s specific set of numbers.

Being short-wave meant that most households in Australia in the 1940s would be able to listen in on their home radio. In fact not a few cars had radios installed.

  1. I would think that pretty much everyone can see the micro code within the crossed lines, quite clear now. What has my attention at the moment are two things, firstly there is a very interesting line of code that hasn't been covered up but you do have to know how to find it, it's hidden in plain sight, it really is so will post that on Monday. The second thing occupying me at the moment is the decrypt of the Tamam Shud torn piece, that has to SAPOL when its completed but there is an interesting aspect related to the dark 'stain' at the top right of the code page. I find it interesting that everyone recognises the letters that were written over but no one seems to ask why there are a few dark stains one top left and one top right plus the 'flourish' at the base and the crossed lines in the middle. Why would they need to cover them over with ink do you think? It's a rhetorical question because there is a fairly obvious answer. That stain on the top right though, now that has something really interesting in it. Will get to that next week. Looks like we have a boom month this month, down to a couple of things, one the SM programme on SBS and the other is, I think, that people are beginning to see the truth about Carl Webb, he is not the Somerton Man. One last thing, that movie showed two telephone numbers, one was X3239 and the other was X2787?
