INFRARED: VERSE 70, ALF BOXALL COPY, HIDDEN CODE REVEALED

THE RUBAIYAT OF OMAR KHAYYAM
THE BOXALL COPY

Hidden letters and numbers within the larger letters on the title page,
the exact same method as used on the Somerton Man code page.

Above is an image of the Verse 70 inscription and the title page from Alf Boxall's copy of the 'Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam'. You'll notice that I have highlighted or marked up the word 'RUBAIYAT' on the title page.

I have spent many hours over the years reviewing this copy and have shown evidence of micro writing hidden in the words, the verse and in the number 70. In fact, hidden code letters and numbers are also to be found in the image of the lady with the Fez.

Using the newfound infrared capability, I have taken a close up of the word RUBAIYAT as shown below:

Visible micro written letters and numbers are seen in the 4 marked-up letters. In fact, they exist in each letter and are to be found in every letter and word on this page.

Every letter, handwritten and printed as well as the number 70 and the image of the lady with the Fez on the verse page and the bunch of grapes on the title page contain micro written letters and numbers. This had to be far more than a game of writing tiny letters, the technique is extensively used in every possible location, it was a concerted and focused effort.

My view is that the book and verse 70 was used as a training exercise for Jess. Boxall was the trainer.  The proof is here and it represents yet another significant breakthrough.

The good news is that anyone can use the image of these pages, supplied to me by Professor Abbott some years ago, to find what I have found here. The other good nes is that I have a copy of the same edition of this book as does Barry Traish and I can say, without hesitation, that the micro writing shown here does not appear in my edition.

If there is micro-writing concealed both in the hand-written script and the printed script, am I right in concluding that different techniques may have been used?

Ink H, if I have understood correctly, relies on bleaching the visible ink script to reveal pencilled micro-writing. So this could have been the approach used in Jess's dedication script on the left page.

But on the right-hand page, micro-writing is concealed within the printed type of the book. Are you aware of any known concealment method that uses this approach?

  2. The Ink H method was as follows:

Ink letters first which provided the template within which another letter/letters/numbers could be written in pencil. Then to further disguise the pencilled code, another layer of ink was added. This presumably was done to stop any obvious detection of the graphite when viewed under a UV other light source. The code would be revealed/developed by immersing the page in a strong household bleach solution. i.e. normal strength is 4% and strong is 6%.

Having tested this a number of times, in practice you need to carefully monitor the process as the development time isn't consistent possibly due to the bleach strength being variable and/or the nature of the ink used.

Some years ago I put some posts together that demonstrated the technique in detail. It works and is very effective.

The writing within the letters of verse 70 does not appear to have the additional layer of ink, either that or it has faded over time. I will be using IR to examine verse 70 although, I have shown its existence by using oblique camera angles and lighting.

In regard to the code within the printed text, the short answer is yes. If you look for posts on the HAY Banknotes on this blog, you will see examples of various concealed writing methods. Some within borders, some within larger letters, some within the Sheep designs and some within the signatures. In fact pretty much everywhere on the notes. Once again, I will revisit them using IR.

There is also a document released by the CIA about 10 years ago that describes the concealment messages/codes on the face of postage stamps and in the borders of pages on printed books. Not a big step to go from page borders to printed text. I think that document is on one of this blog's pages.

It amuses me to see that there are still some people who immediately condemn the method without testing it for themselves. As Einstein once said, 'Condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance'.

Everyone is of course entitled to their opinion but it can only carry weight if they have properly investigated and tested the proposition and shown their results. Without exception, all that have condemned this technique have not tested it and it couldn't be simpler.

Thanks for your comment. Stay safe and Stay well.

  5. I believe TSM was the code breaker not the maker. I believe he went to a motel to crack the code using alot of the things that were found in the suitcase. He also used that "doodle "as most people call it at the bottom of the code letters to test it out for my self , I cropped the "doodle " tool out uploaded it to a mixer app then uploaded Alf boxall's book page signed letter and picture art underneath it . I used the "doodle " tool on the the picture art , i lined it up in different angles to match the lines in the art it took sometime to do this. I didn't find all The letters of the code but I did find enough to say the code is from the picture art , they are identical to each letter code shape found on TSM I know it doesn't crack the code. But tha ts how he did it .. I hope I'm the first to find that out. I've been working on the case since 2010. Mr. Kramer I found some other stuff for ya but I have pneumonia from carbon monoxide from a generator so too sick to get into that right now. Ttyl Teresa Buckalew ..
