Hi Welcome to the Tamam Shud Blog, widely regarded as the leading and most trusted fact and evidence-based blog on the Somerton Man case. Please take a moment to review our comment guidelines here:
Hello, Yes that's correct. The book was loaned to me some 3 years ago by a lady who had the book in her possession for some years having bought it at an auction I believe. I scanned the book and it is available for download. I examined it in quite some detail but did not find anything out of the ordinary.
It is worth pointing out that when I looked at another ROK, the Methuen 7th edition, I did find an anomaly in that the verse 23 in the 7th edition copy found open on George Marshall's chest was in fact verse 24 in an earlier Methuen (5th edition)
There is a copy of both 5th and 7th editions available in PDF format.
I have not followed the thread on the Kiwi connections so I am afraid I can be of no help to you in that regard.
Just a side issue about "things from New Zealand". This bloke is still missing I believe.. https://www.geni.com/people/Walter-Ashton/6000000175597191822 Definitely not the Somerton Man, but probable according to the testimony of two Seaman that he absconded to Australia in 1948
Hello Gordon - does the inscription say P. Williamsons 1944? Where did you come by this copy? Can we make a link to the Kiwi Revue Company??
