Research Archive
Since 2010, I’ve carried out a forensic and historical investigation into the Somerton Man case, uncovering new evidence, challenging official narratives, and revealing previously overlooked connections. This page and others listed serve as the central archive of discoveries and methods.
Origins of the Investigation
What began with sparse public records and fragmented clues quickly expanded into a multi-layered investigation—one that crossed forensic science, intelligence history, and cryptographic analysis. In January 2013, I launched this blog to document and share my findings.

Microcode Breakthrough
Tibor Kaldor and the Dunera Connection
The discovery of Tibor Kaldor—found dead just weeks after the Somerton Man—opened a new investigative thread. Kaldor was one of the Dunera Boys, and his story intersects with covert messaging, wartime internment, and forensic anomalies. A friend pointed me to a brief article in the Adelaide Advertiser describing the death of a man in a Hindley Street hotel, just two weeks after the Somerton Man was found. He, too, had died of poisoning.
The Hay Bank Notes and Steganography
The Dunera Boys were first held at Hay Internment Camp in New South Wales. There, they founded their own “University” and produced internal currency—Hay Bank Notes—designed by internee George Adams Teltscher.
I was fortunate in being able to find high-resolution images of the Sixpence, One Shilling, and Two Shillings notes. Upon close examination, I found microwritten letters and numbers embedded within the larger printed text, along with steganographic elements around the edges and reverse sides.
The Danetta Cipher
Tibor left behind a final letter. When I ran its contents through a cipher analysis tool (dcode.fr), it revealed a jumbled set of characters and a single name: DANETTA.
As my research progressed, this name surfaced repeatedly—always in the same format: a letter paired with a numerically sequenced position. It resembled a book cipher, and its recurrence was consistently linked to suspicious deaths, including that of the Somerton Man.
Continuing the Investigation
These discoveries form the backbone of my ongoing investigation. From forensic anomalies to cryptographic patterns, each thread deepens our understanding of the case and its broader historical context.
This archive will continue to evolve as new evidence emerges and archival threads are unraveled. For further reading, explore the linked posts below or visit the About the Author page.
