Given that the tools shown here were made in the mid-1940s, they are of superb design and are a credit to Wilhelm Sher. Wilhelm is of course the man that owned the Red Point Tool factory where Carl Webb worked.

A serious question, I wonder if the man shown in the image above is Mr. Sher or one of his employees? Fairish hair, greying at the temples, big hands and the right ear looks to be joined. Not sure about the nose though.
