The Cover Revealed

Conceptual book cover for The Somerton Secret by C. Gordon Cramer, featuring the authentic Tamam Shud slip and highlighting the hidden micro-codes against a black-to-red background

Here it is, the working concept cover for The Somerton Secret. This design, featuring a photograph of the actual torn slip of paper with the words Tamam Shud, is one of the keys to the new information and evidence that will be presented in the book.

Why is it taking so long to launch? Lots of people have asked that question, part of the answer is timing and timing must be carefully managed. I want to assure you that this really isn't just another run-of-the-mill summary based on web pages or wikis. This book is the culmination of years of focused, forensically detailed research, built upon literally thousands of documents, mountains of evidence, and millions of words of data we have uncovered.

The Somerton Secret will be a book like no other. It breaks new ground in so many ways, and it would be so wrong to launch it before we have every piece of what is an extraordinarily complex and intriguing puzzle,  nailed down tight.

What you see on the cover is just part of the promise: a discovery hidden in plain sight, waiting for you the audience to find it.

  1. Is that a blood stain on the front end of the paper?

  2. Well spotted but no, it's a rust coloured area at that end of the slip. The red colouration surrounding it gives the impression that the markings are also red.

  3. The cover looks sharp, minimalist is good, gets te message across. When's the launch date?

  4. I like that style, less is more is the concept and it does focus on a key part but not the only key part of the story. Ideally the slip should be subjected to forensic testing, even after all these years there could be traces of chemicals and other substances etc. I don't think touch dna would be a starter but then again, DNA science is always making advances. As for the launch date, not just yet! A little while to go yet but it won't be too long.
