I found Freda husband's relatives who worked at CAC by the way. Percival McMinn and for a time, his dad, Gilbert McMinn, who was married to Selina "Nellie" Keane.
ReplyDeleteNice find Pete, for those wondering CAC was the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation at Fishermen's Bend and also known later as the GAF, Government Aircraft Factory. Fishermen's Bend factory used to assemble aircraft from parts made in other locations including the Railway Workshops in Adelaide during WW2. I wonder if the Mr. Keane mentioned in the Commission was related to Nellie?
