SOMERTON MAN MYSTERY

The Evidence The Facts In Detail In Depth

AN INTERIM POST: THE NAME ON THE CODE PAGE, RELIABLE SOURCE REVEALED

 THE NAME AND SOURCE REVEALED

For the sleuths, the name that GF referred to was KING, you'll find it in Hansard, Senator Cavanagh's speech in 1971, note also the Latin word 'Ardum' using the same method described by the Senator. You'll find the page in NAA Inside Story part 1. Page 190.

The name KING is also found alongside the letter R near the base of the code page. Coincidence?

Another coincidence is that we had a BAYARD LE ROY KING in Adelaide in 1948, an ex OSS man and believed to be CIA. He arrived in March and left on 25th December 1948. Here's a link:

Bayard served in numerous places including AZERBAIJAN, (1947) very close to Armenia and not far from Batumi, the port on the Black Sea where many ships docked on their way to Odesa. Hmmm...

There you go, another mystery solved :)

  1. No Pete, Danetta appears as an acrostic on the code page, as such each letter follows a strict numerical sequence based on its position in the line. The big difference is that there are 7 lines in the code page with each beginning with the letter M.

Here's the link to the page that explains it in detail: https://tamamshud.blogspot.com/2018/11/somerton-man-verse-70-tibor-kaldors.html

  2. The idea of tradecraft is that it's something simple and every day so it's easily overlooked by someone not in the know. In the case of Danetta, it turns up again and again in issues related to the Somerton Man and always in the same acrostic format.

The first 'clue' would be the letter D, does it fall in the first position reading left to right or right to left? Then the A has to be in a second position and so on. It really is very simple to follow for someone who knew the word.

  3. I still wouldn't be in too much of a hurry to ditch the name King. Your choice.

Just to add to the acrostic method, using the first letter as the starter is one option. It could be that the first letter D is, say the 4th letter in a word, or a line or a paragraph, you then need the rest of the letters, ANETTA to fall consecutively as in 5th 6th 7th 8th 9th and 10th letter. It is as you can see, very much like a standard book code only reliant on letter position and not word position.
