SOMERTON MAN CODE CRACKED: SECOND MICROCODE DECRYPT: SOVIET NAME REVEALED

Instances of micro written code have been shown and proven for some years but it is only in recent times that we have been able to uncover sufficient detail to attempt a decrypt of the microcode found on the code page.

Later in this post, you will read of a Soviet name found in the last letter sequence and highlighted, but first a little refresh of the last decrypt.

LETTER M LINE 1.

The first example was from the first letter M found in the first line of the code page. When examined the code from that letter in part, read:

COMMUNICATION MR SHOT SL REPEAT SLOWLY

Link to the actual page here:

https://tamamshud.blogspot.com/2020/10/code-cracked-update.html

LAST SEQUENCE: STGAR

Below are two images of the last 5 letters on the last line shown on the code page. The first image shows a close-up view of the letters including the presence of a microcode. The second image shows the same view but it is inverted to account for the fact that the highlighted code was written from the other, top-down, aspect of the page. In radio Prosign parlance the AR term is used to sign off from communications: This is my last message no response is required or expected.

The underlined stroke or 'Flourish' stemming from the last letter 'R' was the focus of another decrypt attempt
ECABI MG DEBE DHACDGNGDGENEE EDE
There were a number of partial decrypted words found amongst the 820 lines, they include, NOV, ABEL and CA29. It is quite possible that one or more of the identified letters/numbers is incorrect.

In the centre highlighted example we can see 324 324, alphabetic substitution makes that CBD CBD and when that is put through a decoder we get a number of results but only one that spells out a name.

ZYAZYA

That word is actually a surname, and rare, in Russia the surname occurs 9 times but more popular in Ukraine with 32 instances at this time.

Searches happening at the moment to see whether there is any trace of that name either as a natural name or as a code name.

  1. Zyazya and Nal'ma.
What a code phrase to use to verify oneself at a secret rendezvous.
Only a handfull of people "in the know" would've recognised the meaning of the phrase in the 1940's. Only a limited number of people would've ever heard of them, let alone seen them, and even fewer worked with them. I'd imagine even the knowledge of their existence might've only been known to the highest echelons of Beria's chemical warfare squad. It's fascinating that you've dug out the name of a 1940s russian lab monkey. One of a pair. Find Nal'ma and then you'll have proof that this Rubiayat is no ordinary of scribble book.

  2. Thanks Pete, I downloaded the CIA doc and saw the reference. For those reading this, the animals, a slightly different spelling, ZYUZYA and Nal'ma were being used for experiments with the drug PHENAMINE. The spelling variation is understandable, the sound of that name would be similar no matter which way it was spelled. The drug affects the brain in particular. Here's a link to the CIA document to be found on Redacted's post on the bigfooty forum here: https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/rubaiyat-suspicious-deaths-codes-spies.1231844/page-12#post-67792685
