MICROCODE:
IMAGE LIBRARY PART 1.
Time us at a premium today so, for the moment at least, I will simply post these latest images of microcode with a brief description and add more narrative later.
1. Top right dark stain, it looks jumbled and difficult to view in this first image although you can make out numbers...
2. Now turn the image through 90 deg anti-clockwise, let your eyes focus and read from left to right, more clean up to do on this image yet but these look like phone numbers... :
Cleaned up version 1:
Cleaned up version 2:
The above is difficult to make out, it gives credence to the information given to me by Gerry Feltus that the code page was made up of indentations hence what you see here is various writings on top of other writings. The numbers are the 'heaviest'/ 'darkest' and highlighted. X3239 appears in the centre highlighted box. You'll need to let your eyes rest a little and give them time to focus.
3. Line 2, clean up to do as yet, numbers and some letters visible in the line and in the larger letters...
4. Crossed lines, right end, this was treated with fluid and resulted in quite a clear view of microcode...
Some questions:
1. If the microcode was useless jottings, why did the authorities feel the need to cover it up?
2. It was covered up deliberately, what are the implications of that statement? Who knew?
Not sure what to make of this.
ReplyDeleteIs it in a mixture of abjad and
cyrillic scripts with others?
Just updated in response to your comment Pete. It is admittedly hard to see but I added a second cleaned up version of the 'stained' area top right of the code page and highlighted what I see as 3 sets of numbers. The highlight box in the centre has a number set that looks to be X3239. I haven't spent much time on the other two but will do that later today. It's Remembrance Sunday.
