...YET MORE PROOF
CARL WEBB IS NOT THE SOMERTON MAN...
OLDER CARL WEBB SOMERTON MAN |
A few days ago, I posted a video that clearly showed that the left ear of the young Carl Webb did not match the left ear of the Somerton Man. Above you can see the left ear of the older Carl Webb and, as you might expect, it clearly does not match the left ear of the Somerton Man either
The ears are distinctly different.
I read yesterday that Professor Derek Abbott had dismissed the differences between the two as shown in the earlier posted video saying that it was down to the fact that our ears change with age. An article was quoted and when you read it simply does not support the Professor's claim, it was a jargon-filled piece that I had deciphered by a friend who happens to be a Doctor.
Yes, ears actually grow a little with age and become more noticeable in much later years but what they don't do is to completely change their features. The changes that you see in an older person's ear shape are due to the sagging of the skin around the cartilage of the outer ear. As pointed out in the earlier post, the length of an ear lobe changes by .22 mm every year.

This Diagram may help as you watch the following short video:
Please note that there is a third video on the way which adds further evidence in support of the statement that Carl Webb is NOT the Somerton Man.

THE EVIDENCE
In recent discussions, we arrived at an agreed position and that is that there seems to be no valid reason why the Police have not as yet released their findings on the exhumed remains.
ReplyDeletePersonally, my thoughts are that the ear differences are now so obvious that the conclusion has to be that the body in the bust was most likely Carl Webb and Carl Webb's ear features do not match those of the Somerton Man.
It would seem that for that to be the case, there had to be two bodies.
In early December it was fairly clear that the only way we can get any confirmation is that the Police provide the DNA from the exhumed remains and, most importantly provide the evidence that the dental chart showing 18 missing teeth, that was taken by Dr Dwyer at the Autopsy, matches the dental chart of the exhumed remains.
The Police are in the record as saying it is the Coroner who has to make the formal identification. But this is confusing because if it is still an active police investigation - then they will want a name to work with. It is seemingly very grey as to what the priority of this investigation is: to extract a DNA profile; to identify the remains; to determine a cause of death; to bring closure to the family; to conduct a police inquiry or support a coronial process; or any combination of the above including any other “purpose”??
