SOMERTON MAN: THE INCREDIBLE MICROCODE EXAMPLES AUGUST 2022

SOME EXAMPLES OF MICROCODE FOUND IN THE SOMERTON MAN CASE:

1. THE CODE PAGE

BASE FLOURISH (FILTER) SM CODE PAGE

2. THE BOXALL ROK:

The following group of images are from a collection of images showing microcode on the Boxall ROK on both the inscription and title pages:

Below is a close-up of the 'hinge' between the inscription page and the title pages. The centreline. What appears to be a simple line on close inspection is actually a string of letters and numbers:

CODE WITHIN TEXT BOXALL RUBAIYAT

V 70 INSCRIPTION

3. THE TAMAM SHUD: TORN SLIP MICROCODE

Below, examples of the torn slip showing letters/numbers within the letters of the words
TAMAM SHUD:

The torn slip was found rolled up tightly and pushed well down into a 'secret' waistband fob pocket as described by Gerry Feltus in his book, THE UNKOWN MAN.

The question is, what was the man believed to now be Carl Web, doing with this coded information deliberately concealed in his waistband fob pocket?

The high-resolution image of the torn slip was taken at Adelaide University, they were looking to examine the fibers in the paper and the composition thereof. They were not looking for concealed code which requires an entirely different approach. In the images above you can make out the presence of small handwritten letters but mostly numbers. What did it all mean?

HAY BANKNOTE FULL

The Hay banknotes contain masses of micro-written words, letters and numbers, created in 1941 by Internee George Adams Teltscher. George was an internee at the same time and in the same camp as Tibor Kaldor, a man who was later to be found dead in the victoria Hotel in Hindley Street Adelaide, see download later in this post.

This image can be downloaded and magnified to show very fine examples of micro written codes. In this case they were used not as a method of clandestine communication, it was more a matter of exquisite design by George Teltscher
'
An interesting side note, unlike previous claims of a relationship of the Somerton Man to a US President, George was in fact a proven relation to former US President  John Adams.

The signature below shows how penciled information was concealed within normal-sized cursive writing.

I see on another blog that the torn slip was lost?

  4. The slip wasn't lost, it still exists and I understand it is kept in a safe place. In 2010 or thereabouts, Adelaide University put the slip under a microscope and took photos. They were looking to match fibres and did not search for concealed codes which have subsequently been found.
