A 1942 CODE BOOK EXTRACT
The full Codebook rotates through the alphabet. So we right now are looking at the letter M, the subsequent pages commence with N, and so on. The key is that they are 3 letter sequences that decrypt to 4 numbers.

ReplyDeleteCorrect, WW2, Italian Navy code. Bit of history behind this one. It was 'collected' by a US spy, who once was a nurse I think.
