TIBOR KALDOR FILE....
Today's news is that we now have the full 15-page file on this man and it contains more than I thought it would. We now have a much higher resolution image of his last letter, some may recall that the one we initially had was a very grey and low resolution. Much more to be seen in this file.
Here's a taster for now:

Hi-Resolution image of page 1 of Tibor's last letter:
The last letter is of far better resolution with an even better one on its way. There is an incredible amount of detail and I know that many will be looking forward to seeing the results of the analysis.
Accommodation Voucher:
This was Tibor's accommodation voucher for the Victoria Hotel, dates as specified...
For those interested, accessing this file was not a particularly easy task, not as straightforward as I would have liked :) But, I now have it and all of its contents. If you are a genuine researcher and can provide me with your details, I can send the file and contents to you.
ReplyDeleteHi Gordon, I would like to have the files. How can we manage that? Thanks
ReplyDeleteHello, I will be putting another post up on TK, a lot of interest at the moment as you probably know. I will put a link to the folder containing the Police files and other TK material in that post within the next few days.
ReplyDeleteFor a note that was reportedly left by a Hungarian migrant, I find his handwriting and command of the English language to be extraordinary. What is also curious is that his wishes were for his body to be left to the University for teaching purposes, or otherwise cremated. Yet he ended up being buried at West Terrace Cemetery? And again, the cemetery records online appear to be inconsistent with other dates of death and burial?
ReplyDeleteYes, a very literate man. He had a Doctorate in languages according to other research although he did quote Vienna University, he in fact attended Graz University, a little licence I suspect, Vienna sounds more impressive.
ReplyDeleteIn his documents he is described as 'Jewish' and I believe that those of that faith would not consider a cremation which is at odds to his request. The records don't mention the fact that he was buried in a mass, paupers grave and that in later years the grave was destroyed by an overly keen property developer. Thus no chance of an exhumation there.
