CODE CRACKED:
LATEST IMAGES
The image above is self-explanatory, you can see in the crossbar of the T a string of numbers, in fact, each letter in the words TAMAM SHUD found on the torn piece contain similar strings.
The question now of course is what do they mean?

As we get closer to, hopefully, getting some form of identification of the remains of the recently exhumed body, I thought that it was time to release some of the numerous close-up images taken of the Somerton Man code crack process.
The first image you see above shows code in the top left 'stain' area and the first letters as shown above and in the following image presentation.
1. Below is the same image as the header but rotated giving a clearer view of the micro code:
2. More detailed view of the letter M
3. Section showing X lines and portions of 3rd and 4th lines:
4. Image as above but rotated, this shows the direction from which the individual code letters and numbers were inserted into the larger letters. As you can see, every letter has an embedded microcode within it:
5. Portions of the X line and 3rd, 4th and fifth lines of the code are shown in the following image. Of note is the clear letters and number strings within the crossed lines and elsewhere:
7. As you can see, the image shown above has been inverted to show the detailed microcode letters and numbers
8. Last letters G A R sequence with flourish tail beneath the R:
9. Next, the above image has been inverted to better show the presence of microcode in the individual letters and in the flourish:
10. Portions of the first three lines of the code page, very clear presence of microcode now seen in each letter:
The images here are amongst the clearest to date. It has taken many years of effort to find ways to reveal the once hidden microcode. In the end, it is down to the availability of better technology by way of cameras and lighting.
All that was needed to get the results we have here was a photographer's backlit panel plus bleed-proof photo paper and a quality Epson photo printer that allows for very fine settings.
This method is in addition to the use of citric acid which is still valid as an upcoming post will demonstrate.
There was one other technique that was used and for this, I owe thanks to Clive Turner. Some years back we were discussing the process as was then and Clive mentioned the idea of taking the photos from the rear of the printed images. At the time, the lighting I had wasn't the best and the use of infrared whilst helpful didn't give much in the way of improvement. So, in recent weeks, I have obtained a decent backlit panel and it was that plus the 'reverse image' technique suggested by Clive that has got us over the line.
There are more images to follow, one of which I think you will find astounding.

My understanding of the code is that the original wasn't in the book, just the imprint, which was drawn over by the police. So the micro code is revealed in the drawn over letters because ink would have tended to settle into the deeper imprint of the micro code. Am I correct?
