INFRARED PHOTOGRAPH

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING AT?
The image above is a composite, at the top, you see the image of the normal code page, top left first 5 letters. Beneath it is the negative version and then the infrared version of the same part of the page.
The technique used involved turning the normal image into a negative image and then I took a series of infrared photographs of the entire page but in segments as you can see here:
1. At the top of the normal page in its normal view, we see a white bar across the top.
2. When turned negative that bar turns into black as shown in the middle part of the image.

3. And finally, the Infrared is applied and we can see what really exists in the bar, strings of darker numbers with lighter numbers beneath them. The darker numbers shown up by the infrared technique were the last numbers to be written.
I think that this 'layering' is down to whoever was writing the numbers using the back page to rest on and what we are looking at are the indentations from 2, 3, or possibly more occasions when the writing was done. They weren't all done at the same time. This applies to the entire code page, the book was used as a rest on numerous occasions hence there is a significant number of instances of micro writing.
So, is what is written on the code page actually a code? I think some of it is but most of it is someone practicing just like they used to practice with the Collins ROK supposedly given to Alf Boxall by Jestyn.
Numerous photographs using this equipment including the Verse 70 Inscription and title page, and the TAMAM SHUD torn piece have been taken. Later, Tibor Kaldor's last letter will be examined.
