Somerton Man & Carl Webb
Still images, Colour Images and Videos...
(Please note, I am still working on this post!, A few have asked for the latest still photos...)
The image above is, I believe, the closest we can get to how the Somerton Man looked when he was alive. It is based precisely on the original Police post autopsy images. All of the features and ratios closely match those found on the original images. This only became achievable thanks to the advances made in AI image to video generation which enabled the creation of the advanced ‘3D’ image to video examples shown in this and the other recent posts. The next step will be to side by side compare these images to others including those of Carl Webb and Pavel Fedosimov amongst others.
In this Gallery, you can find examples of still images and videos, including colour versions. This resource is available to enable you to compare the facial features of both men. As you can imagine it has taken some time to gather and process the necessary data and images,

The same base image, but this time colourised. Note that the hair is a gingerish colour.
From a slightly different perspective, there is a certain presence about this photograph even though it was created by AI.
Carl Webb:
A clear image of Carl was taken from one of the videos created using AI. Not at all bad given that we have only a single image to work from. In the video, you can see just how his facial features transition from the original to the others in the sequence.
And here we have the colourised version, using a different backdrop which I thought may be more in keeping with his tan and sun-bleached hair.

What you say is correct, there are many images that have been claimed as being of the Somerton Man, I have certainly submitted a possible candidate in Pavel Fedosimov. However, to my knowledge the images shown here of both the Somerton Man and Carl Webb are accurately based on published photographs, not artist’s impressions. Thanks to AI, what you see in the SM photos for example are very close to how he would have looked in real life. The next step is to see if we can find any photographs online that match the ones we have here. The first attempt at that has drawn a blank but there’s more avenues yet to test. Simultaneously, there will be side by side comparisons of SM and Carl Webb and others to see if they match. I can’t emphasise enough the importance of these latest AI images and videos, they represent a significant step forward in the task of finding the identity of the Somerton Man.
