Wondered where to post this comment. It's a Trove link to images of some of the cast of The White Horse Inn in Adelaide. They performed at the Theater Royal, 'Hindley Street? and I think that was in December 1948, when I first looked at this many years ago along with others, we found that they had given a performance at the Crippled Children's home during their stay.

  4. Some clarification/confirmation regarding the numbers of site visits that I get here on this blog. Since 2013 when I started the Tamam Shud blog, I have had a total of just over 930,000 page visits. Some visitors look at one page and some look at many pages, some arrive just once and some return again and again. I don't keep a record of just who visits the blog, it's part of the Google Blogpsot rules. I do know that I get visitors from many overseas countries with the USA and Australia leading the pack, Vietnam accounts for around .25% of the total, (good to know he comes to this trusted source for his information). As far as comments are concerned, this is not a forum so comments received here are few and far between, less than 6000 in 10 years in fact Neither have I engaged in hiring 'cash for comment' bloggers who tend to form the majority of comments on some blogs. True to say that I was once approached by one such person but I had no interest and also true to say that one well known commenter was in the habit of touting for work some time ago but that appears to be no longer the case. I can only assume that he has either given up or has found a permanent gig. On a daily basis I receive between a low of 250 page visits and a high in excess of 1700 visits with many in betweens. the fluctuation being dependent on which of the large overseas blogs find a topic they like and rush to read it. I am very grateful for all those that follow this blog and I appreciate and value there support. I hope this clarifies things for you Pete.
