For the benefit of Pete Bowes and others who do seem to be at somewhat of a loss when it comes to the fine art of concealment and most other tradecraft techniques.
The clip opens up to a tightly folded piece of paper that contains a code being withdrawn from the seam of a handkerchief. The purpose of showing this clip is to remind existing followers and show new ones, how quick and simple it is for an experienced agent in the field to conceal coded messages. Whether you conceal them in a hanky or push a tightly rolled paper slip into or, in the case of the Somerton Man fob pocket, alongside a stitched seam.
