SOMERTON MAN: THE TWO MOST IMPORTANT FINDS OF 2021

 

After an enjoyable short break, it's time now to get back on the track of the Somerton Man and the circumstances surrounding his demise.

Followers of this blog will know that we have been able to conclusively prove that there was an espionage involvement in the case and that during 2021 we added a number of further evidential posts. with two of them being the absolute stand out examples of how thorough investigation gets results. 

STAND OUT # 1.

THE SHIFTING SANDS OF SOMERTON BEACH

In the series of 4 posts and with the valuable input of Tidal expert Dr. John Luick of Adelaide, we were able to show that on the balance of probabilities, the body of the Somerton Man was moved to the beach AFTER the high tide on the morning of December 1st, 1948. This was based on the following facts:

1. The time of death of the man was around 2 am that morning

2. The High tide, that we have shown reached the wall against which the man was found,was at 4.30 am that morning

3. According to the Police evidence, the body had not been in the water, had he been lying there since 2 am, his body would have been thoroughly soaked by the action of the high tide.

STAND OUT # 2.

HOW FEDOSIMOV COULD HAVE REACHED AUSTRALIA

In this post after much research including the arrival of various refugee vessels into Australia in the period mid to late 1948. We have been able to show that Pavel Fedosimov, the Russian Diplomat who had been recalled to Moscow and who was under suspicion of being about to betray the mother country, could easily have boarded a ship, the DERNA which departed Marseilles in August 1948 and called in to Port Said in Egypt just 2 weeks after the POBEDA the ship with Fedosimov amongst the passengers had docked at Alexandria just a days drive from Port Said.
