C 7407....
I am sure that everyone would like to know the second number that was found written in tiny lettering on the code page and so after a little furious digging around, I managed to find it some time ago and it is on the code page.
UPDATE 3rd April 2022
If you look at the letter heading below, you will see that it was dated 6th December 1948.
Ahh John, plagiarising again. Instead of abusing and stealing the work of others, why not try and find things yourself? I note with interest that you never have actually found anything according to Pete Bowes? You simply talk about it as though you had. Quite amusing really.
Pete Bowes. If you want to use content from this blog, all you have to do is ask, you don't need to stoop to the level of Sanders et al. All I ask is that you acknowledge this blog as the original source.
C 7407
That's the number of the Savings Bank of South Australia. But, I am told, it is also the number for the SA Attorney General's Office in the same building with a shared switchboard. And there is one other party to that switchboard, The Commonwealth Investigation Service.
Just a little snippet with my compliments.
Any updates on this, Gordon?
