SOMERTON MAN: WE HAVE A NAME PART 9. AND WE HAVE ONE TIME PADS? UPDATED 13/09/16 17.30

ONE TIME PADS DISCOVERED

Breaking News.. 10th September 2016

UPDATE: 13/09/16, 17.30

We have established a definite link between Hay Internment Camp 7 and the Somerton Man Case. We have been able to construct a short list of possible names for the Somerton Man.

Keep a look out for the next post, it will surprise everyone.

A Heads Up, The Biggest Cold War Code Books Find

This post is more of a breaking news item to let you know that we have found a series of one-time pads, the essential tools of clandestine communications, these pads are connected to Tibor Kaldor and by default, they are connected to the Somerton Man case. They have lain hidden for many years and were ingeniously concealed, I think that we may have as many as 40 pages Here's a preview:

The full post will have clearer images than this. Can't give it all away just yet :)

What can be said is that the characters you can see were all hand written, they are sub .6mm in each case which makes them by any definition 'micro'. As you will read in the follow-up post, the way in which these OTPs were published is astonishing, it was a demonstration of incredible skill and ability.

One Time Pads Examples

As you are probably aware, one time pads are used as a secure method of encrypting messages, effectively such pads take sets or strings of numbers and or letters and then.. Well why should I do this when wiki does a much better job:

'In cryptography, the one-time pad (OTP) is an encryption technique that cannot be cracked if used correctly. In this technique, a plaintext is paired with a random secret key (also referred to as a one-time pad). Then, each bit or character of the plaintext is encrypted by combining it with the corresponding bit or character from the pad using modular addition. If the key is truly random, is at least as long as the plaintext, is never reused in whole or in part, and is kept completely secret, then the resulting ciphertext will be impossible to decrypt or break. It has also been proven that any cipher with perfect secrecy property must use keys with effectively the same requirements as OTP keys. However, practical problems have prevented one-time pads from being widely used.'

There are a number of ways that OTPs can be hidden, in a walnut nutshell or a secret compartment in a wallet perhaps. One famous case uncovered quite by accident by the FBI a page from an OTP turned up inside a hollow nickel. The issue here is that when it comes to concealment, those involved in the trade have limitless imaginations!

This next image is a British SOE (Special Operations Executive) one-time pad which was created on a silk handkerchief, this was done so that the code be hidden inside a coat lining for example, it would not make a rustling noise that you would get if it was on paper and thus would not be detected in a search.

  2. Could you tell in few words how did you find the pad and if there any breakthroughs in the Taman Shud case investigation? I believe we all would like to understand the whole picture and if is there any chance to idetify the man.

    1. Thanks for your questions, we are right in the middle of refining some exceptional information and we do have some posts ready to roll out by this weekend. The short answers are that we will show you how the pads/codes were found, there have been breakthroughs and you can be the first to know that we have a short list of possible identities for the Somerton Man. I am sorry that I can't be more explicit at this moment but by the weekend much of what I have said here will be in a post.
